Circus write-up – What happened?

The circus was a great success.

As we’re still waiting for image uploads, here’s a quick rundown of what happened.

WiFi challenge

The WiFi network was a great success, and we had 3 connections to it. It was turned off exactly 10 minutes after the last act.

Ghost train

Everyone had to be pulled on a trailer to the entrance to a tunnel, and then walk through it to enter the circus. This was a surprise for the audience.

World’s fattest man

The world’s fattest man came on stage. He had to break the chair twice to prove he was still the world’s fattest, and he only broke it once. He had to re-train.

A race with a twist: Slowest wins

It was a close race with several disqualifications, and in the end Eva won.

Swing cannon

Everyone swung super high and shot forward. It was great fun.

World’s smallest person

The world’s smallest person had competition, as someone overtook her. She had to re-train.

Escapologist

The escapologist did a great job, only narrowly escaped in time, having used 27 of her 30 seconds.

Interval

Everyone got a break. We had snacks on offer, music was playing, there was WiFi available, and we were taking bets for the horse race in shells.

We accepted a few low bets. The odds were:

• Laila on Theo: 2 to 1
• Ina on George: 2 to 1 on
• World’s smallest person on Penny: 10 to 1

Fortune telling

We had a dark tent set up, and we had our very own crystal ball. We told everyonees fortunes, and we hope that everyone we said won’t come true… But hopefully some of it will.

Horse race

Penny won by miles, after the X World smallest person clang on all the way even though she was scheduled to fall off near the start. Elin won 20 shells as a result.

Tight rope

The world’s fattest man had to re-train to keep his part in the circus, and he managed to walk all the way along the tight rope without falling off.

World’s strongest person

Everyone tried to break the solid wooden bar, and only the X world’s smallest person could do it.

World’s best rower

Only Laila could complete the challenge, after Theo and Ina confidently tried and failed

Clowns

The clowns told their jokes as always, and George Monkey even told Theo’s jokes.
